A broken contact form loses enquiries. A broken checkout loses orders with revenue attached, and it breaks in more ways: a payment gateway update, an expired API key, a shipping plugin conflict, a theme change that hides the pay button.
Formitor now monitors checkouts the same way it monitors forms: by actually using them.
How it works
On a schedule, Formitor places a tiny $0 test order through the checkout, confirms the order completes, verifies the order confirmation email is actually delivered, then deletes the test order. No payment is ever charged, and your store admin is never notified of the test.
The checkout page itself is also health-checked about every 10 minutes, so a white screen or fatal error on the money page gets caught fast, not on the next scheduled order.
WooCommerce: full support, classic and block checkouts. Point the 🛒 Checkout dialog at a $0 test product and turn it on. There’s even a “Find $0 products” button that asks your site for its $0 products so you don’t hunt through edit-screen URLs.
SureCart: supported too. By default Formitor runs a silent pipeline probe (connection, test product, $0 pricing verified with no order created). An optional full order test also verifies order creation and the confirmation email via a test-mode order.
The agency angle
Uptime monitoring says the store is fine because the homepage loads. Meanwhile the checkout has been erroring since the gateway plugin updated at 3 a.m. Checkout monitoring closes exactly that gap, and the result shows on the client status pages you share.
